Analytics FAQs

Which platforms have analytics support?

PostFast currently provides analytics for Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and LinkedIn Pages (company pages only - not personal profiles). We track metrics like views, likes, comments, shares, and engagement rates. TikTok analytics coming Q4 2025.

How often is analytics data updated?

Analytics data is automatically updated based on the age of your posts. For the first 2 weeks after a post is published, data is refreshed every 6 hours. After that, until 2 months, data is updated once per day. You can also update each post individually with fresh data at any time.

Can I see analytics for posts scheduled in the past?

Yes! PostFast stores historical analytics data for all your published posts. You can review performance metrics from weeks or months ago to identify trends and understand what content resonates with your audience over time.

What metrics does PostFast track?

PostFast tracks key engagement metrics including views/reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, and engagement rate. These metrics help you understand which content performs best and guide your content strategy decisions.

Why are LinkedIn analytics only available for Pages?

LinkedIn's API provides analytics data for LinkedIn Pages (company/organization pages) but not for personal profiles. This is a limitation set by LinkedIn, not PostFast. If you manage a LinkedIn Page for your business, you'll have full access to engagement metrics, views, and performance data.

Can I export analytics data?

Currently, analytics are viewable within the PostFast dashboard. We're working on adding export capabilities so you can download reports for presentations, client reporting, or deeper analysis in external tools.
