What is the best LinkedIn post image size?
1200×627 (1.91:1) is optimal because it matches the link-preview format and displays cleanly in the feed across desktop and mobile. Square 1200×1200 also works for single-image posts.
What size should my LinkedIn banner be?
1584×396 (4:1) is the recommended personal profile banner. The profile picture overlaps the bottom-left on desktop, so leave that area visually quiet. Company page covers use a different 1128×191 size.
Why is my LinkedIn profile picture cropped to a circle?
LinkedIn applies a circular crop to all profile pictures. Upload a 1:1 square (we recommend 400×400 or larger) and keep your face or logo centred so nothing important is clipped.
Should I use PNG or JPG for LinkedIn?
Use JPG for photographs and PNG for graphics with text overlays or logos that need crisp edges. LinkedIn supports both up to 8 MB.
