What is the best image size for an X (Twitter) post?
1200×675 (16:9) shows in the timeline without cropping and looks clean on both desktop and mobile. X supports up to 4 images per post.
What size should my X header be?
1500×500 (3:1) is the recommended upload. Keep important text and logos centred - mobile crops more aggressively from the top and bottom edges.
Why is my X profile picture cropped to a circle?
X displays all profile pictures as circles. Upload a 1:1 square (we recommend 400×400 or larger) with your face or logo centred to avoid losing edges.
Does X compress my image after upload?
Yes. X applies its own compression. Cropping at the exact recommended dimensions before uploading produces a noticeably cleaner result than letting X resize for you.
Will this X cropper upload my image to any server?
No. Cropping is fully client-side using the Canvas API. You can verify there are zero network requests during upload, crop, and download.
